Yesterday I worked on a proposal for a bride wanting a bouquet of succulents. I’ve been wanting to work on a wedding incorporating succulents for quite awhile and while looking for inspiration pictures yesterday, I found myself quite inspired.

Succulents are a great sustainable option if you’re going green for your wedding. Once you’re done with your bouquet you can unwire them and plop them in a pot and they’ll keep growing. They’re a little rustic, a little funky and a lot unique!

Some of my favorites:

White peonies, stock and white veronica with the purple limonium makes for a romantic and soft bouquet.

Feathers! Hypericum berries, pink garden roses, scabiosa pods, smokebush and unripe blackberries make for a very textural bouquet.

Kangaroo paws, yellow ranunculus, yellow and white spray roses and dusty miller = stunning and fun.

What I can see…white lisianthus, scabiosa pods, cymbidium orchids, fever few or asters I’m not sure.
