This year’s wedding season kicked off with a gorgeous wedding at the Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield. Anna and Kaulin put together some amazing DIY projects from menus to cute signs, handmade baskets for centerpieces and a seed packet pallet for escort cards, their day was full of incredible details.
Anna had a great style for her flowers that fit right in with the rustic, organic, outdoor venue. The florals featured soft garden roses in the palest of pinks and yellows with a relaxed and rustic feel. Her bouquet is one of my favorites from this year.
Right after the ceremony, the clouds came in and the skies let loose. It rained for hours and it was a wet, soggy night. Tornado sirens during toasts, ankle deep puddles and the chill in the air didn’t keep the happy couple and their guests from celebrating and having a great time.
I have never been so soaked at a wedding, I wore Chacos to get around the venue since they were waterproof and a rain coat the entire night. We used 40 umbrellas to shuffle guests from the tent to the barn and despite everyone being wet and cold, their spirits couldn’t be dampened. The Tony Rosacci’s team managed to get great food out for everyone even though their tent and the servers were floating away and DJ Yeti kept the guests moving all night.
Anna & Kaulin, you two were such an amazing couple to work with and I’m so glad we could be part of your day!
